Renovation & New Build Electrician Sydney

Duro Electrics provides electrical planning and installation for Sydney renovations, extensions, granny flats and new builds. We can be involved from early planning and rough-in through fit-off, testing and completion, with the scope agreed for each project.

Plan electrical work early

Early coordination helps electrical work fit the renovation or build schedule. We discuss the agreed scope with the homeowner, builder and relevant trades before walls close, including likely locations for lighting, power outlets and dedicated circuits. Final selections and timing depend on the project.

Electrical work across your project

Planning and circuit layout

We review the available project plans and agreed requirements to develop the electrical layout. This stage considers circuit capacity, switch and outlet locations, lighting and the planned use of the space.

Rough-in and site coordination

During rough-in, we install the agreed cabling and relevant infrastructure while framing and wall spaces are accessible. We communicate with relevant trades about the electrical scope as project stages are scheduled.

Fit-off, testing and handover

At fit-off, we install the agreed light fittings, switches and connected equipment. We complete electrical testing before handover and discuss any relevant operating or maintenance information for the installed work.

Our project process

  1. Planning and quote — We review the proposed scope and prepare a quote for the agreed electrical work. Rough-in — Cabling and relevant infrastructure are installed while framing and wall spaces are accessible. Coordination — We communicate about the electrical scope as relevant project stages are scheduled. Final fit-off — The agreed switches, outlets, fittings and connected equipment are installed. Handover and testing — We test the installed electrical work and discuss relevant handover information.
